Baby Clinic
Wednesday: 1.30pm - 3:30pm
Our Baby Clinic is not just a place where you get your newborn weighed and measured. At Woodlands Health Centre, we provide our mothers with information and advice on health issues, immunisation, concerns about feeding or sleeping. It’s also a great place to meet with other mothers. Appoinments can be made to see the nurse.
Ante-natal care
Tuesday: 3pm-6:30pm
Regular antenatal checks with a GP can help make sure you have a healthy pregnancy. The midwives based at Woodlands Health Centre are also happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have about your pregnancy and birth or other maternity healthcare needs. (The antenatal clinics are with a midwife. Monday mornings for initial booking appointments)
Post-natal care
Tuesday: 9am - 11am
Healthcare does not end with giving birth. At Woodlands our qualified midwives are on hand to offer postnatal care for mothers and babies for up to eight weeks after birth.
Family Planning Clinic
Woodlands Health Centre runs a Family Planning Clinic providing free and confidential advice and information about contraception and sexual health. The clinic is available to women, men and young people 16 years and older. Appointments must be booked with Dr. Wilton. Alternatively, you can see the Practice Nurse.
Contraceptives/Obstetric List
Our Practice Nurse is happy to meet with you and discuss any of your Contraceptive needs or concerns.
Diabetes/Asthma/Hypertension Clinic
Diabetes, asthma and hypertension can seriously impact upon your quality of life. Woodlands Health Centre provides advice, information and support for patients who have, or believe they have, any of these conditions.
HELP is an online platform that is here to give advice and guidance in ways you can control your type 2 diabetes. If you are interested in joining please register here
Flu Clinic
From the 15th September 2018, flu vaccinations will be avaible at Woodlands Health Centre. If you require a flu vaccine please call reception to book in.
Telephone Consultation
Telephone consultations are available at Woodlands Health Centre to discuss results or less medically urgent problems. Please ask at reception if you would like to book one.

All commuter clinic sessions are bookable by appointment only.

At Woodlands Health Centre, we also offer the following NHS services run by qualified health professionals:

Our practice also offers Maternity services, Smoking Cessation clinics, Over-75 checks, and a variety of health checks and general medical services.
Patient Participation Group
We are looking for registered patients to help us improve our services. The PPG meets every other month for about an hour. We are especially keen for parents of young children, pensioners and men to join – though all are welcome! Please telephone the surgery on 020 8698 6664 if you are interested.
